Kolonna ιστοσελίδας, Αίγινα  O αρχαιολογικός χώρος είναι η αρχαία ακρόπολη της πόλης της Αίγινας. Η αρχαία Αίγινα βρισκόταν στην ίδια θέση με την παρούσα Αίγινα, καθώς και ο αρχαιολογικός αυτός χώρος βρίσκεται σε κοντινή απόσταση από την πόλη. Υπάρχει επίσης ένα σχετικά μεγάλο αρχαιολογικό μουσείο που στεγάζει διάφορα αρχαιολογικά ευρήματα από το νησί. Το όνομα "Kolonna" προήλθε από τη μόνη εναπομένουσα στήλη του Ναού του Απόλλωνα (όπως βλέπετε στην παραπάνω φωτογραφία). Τα παλαιότερα ίχνη ανθρώπινης ημερομηνία διακανονισμού πίσω στη νεολιθική εποχή.Υπάρχουν ακόμα παραμένουν Εποχή του Χαλκού (3000-2000 π.Χ.) οχυρωματικά τείχη.  Από την έβδομη από τον πέμπτο αιώνα η Αίγινα ήταν μια από τις πιο σημαντικό εμπορικό κέντρο του Αιγαίου. Ο Ναός του Απόλλωνα, που χτίστηκε από το τέλος του έκτου και στις αρχές του πέμπτου αιώνα αντανακλούν την ευημερία της περιόδου αυτής. Αίγινα έπεσε στην ηγεμονία της Αθήνας στα μέσα του πέμπτου αιώνα (459/458 π.Χ.). Στη δυτική πλευρά του ναού, υπάρχει ένα θρησκευτικό μνημείο των Ατταλιδών, κατασκευάστηκε μετά από 210 π.Χ., όταν το βασίλειο των Ατταλιδών της Περγάμου κατέλαβαν το νησί. Κατά την ύστερη ρωμαϊκή περίοδο, τα παγανιστικά ιερά του λόφου Kolonna είχαν καταστραφεί, αλλά η κατοχή συνεχίζεται στη χριστιανική περίοδο. Κατά τη βυζαντινή περίοδο, η περιοχή χρησιμοποιήθηκε ως φρούριο: υπάρχει οχύρωση κατασκευάστηκε στον ενδέκατο αιώνα. Όπως μπορείτε να δείτε στο φωτογραφίες μνημείων, εκτός από το ναό του Απόλλωνα, είναι δύσκολο να προσδιοριστούν.
